Mary Drobnis

This little purse was knitted from the Aran pocketbook pattern in a recent Knitter's. It is knitted out of handspun, three-ply Shetland wool in a soft, heathery brown. The purse is lined with a remnant of tapestry upholstery cloth in a southwest pattern, and the strap is lined with grosgrain ribbon to prevent stretching.

I knitted it as part of the Western Fiber Exchange, a group of spinners who gather via email and the postal service to exchange fiber, spinning, and finishing an item. It's loads of fun!
