The San Diego Creative Weavers Guild was founded in 1946 and is an all volunteer, non-profit corporation, conducting business in San Diego County, California. The Guild’s mission is to educate the general public in the art of weaving. Education includes, but is not limited to:
• Holding regular monthly meetings.
• Providing instruction at workshops and classes.
• Publishing a quarterly newsletter, Treadlin’ Times.
• Working with local groups and agencies who desire assistance in bringing weaving activities for educational, recreational and/or therapeutic purposes to the members of the public.
• The Guild offers two meetings, the second Saturday of the month and the second Monday evening of the month. Depending on your schedule you can attend a day or evening meeting or both!
