Deanna Johnson

I purchased some cashmere yarn at a regional conference, with the intention of weaving a vest for my husband. (It's a payback for putting up with my fiber obsession, and the fact that my "loom room" seemed to give way to "room looms" - one in each!)

Through errors and unfortunate circumstances, I procrastinated, but persisted, and finally, this is the result! The fabric was woven on a Louet Magic Dobby in a dornick twill. The warp is cashmere in a series of Fibonacci stripes blending from taupe to
cream. The weft is 30/2 cream silk
